Recorded warm and close, the way a demo gets sent to one person before it gets sent to anyone else.
I folded up the morning into something I could send
Left it on the water where the river takes a bend
It isn't much to look at, it's mostly just my hand
But it'll reach you quicker than I can
So I'm sending paper boats
Down a long and quiet line
One of them will find you
Give it time, give it time
There's a light on in the kitchen and a coat behind the door
And I kept the smaller things I never said to you before
If you're standing on the far bank when the current brings them round
Lift them out before they go to ground
So I'm sending paper boats
Down a long and quiet line
One of them will find you
Give it time, give it time

Aldreth
I’m Aldreth, a singer-songwriter based in Plainfield, Illinois. I write songs that come from real experiences, quiet moments, and the things that tend to stay with you long after they happen. My music is centered around honest storytelling, strong melodies, and creating something that feels personal without being overcomplicated. At the end of the day, I just want to make songs that people can connect with and find a little bit of themselves in.
